Site Maintenance Officers are responsible for keeping our care homes safe and well maintained so that Residents can enjoy a home from home experience. Their role extends to maintaining the interior and outside space that Residents enjoy; we separately employ regular contractors who maintain lawns and borders. Food and nutrition represent an important part of a Residents care; lead by our Chef or Head Cook our catering teams ensure we deliver balanced and nutritious meals to meet the needs of elderly people. All meals are cooked on site in our own commercial standard kitchens.

Our Family Caring For Your's
We use fresh ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible, with the emphasis on providing delicious seasonal meals. We understand the nutritional needs of older people and create meals that offer the correct calorific and nutritional content. We consider meals to be a fundamental part of every Resident’s care plan. The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home.
During meals, residents can dine in the comfort of their room or in our restaurant style dining area surrounded by friends. Beautifully decorated and pleasant common areas create a warm and welcoming environment. Valley View
Our virtual tours are normally via FaceTime or Skype and are a great way to view many parts of our homes. Other popular visitors include Duke of Edinburgh students from a high school in Dundee, who visit our nursing home every week. Representatives from the Church of Scotland and local Roman Catholic Church also carry out services for us at Bridge View House.
If you need to get through to a loved one or our care home teams and you are unsuccessful, we would encourage you to try again at another time as the issues are intermittent. The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it is important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Our services are devised with individualised treatment in mind for each person, so getting to know everyone and understanding their needs is imperative to delivering bespoke, person-centred care. Our residents and their visitors love to wave from the bay windows of the front lounge as the trains go by. The home is a short walk from Tay Bridge Station and the main bus route on the Perth Road, so has excellent transport links.
